Across the world, families and children are being displaced, their lives shattered by the devastation of war and relentless bombing. Many have lost everything they once called home.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to contribute towards tents for shelter, food for nourishment, and essential supplies to meet their most urgent needs. We also create safe spaces to teach and guide children, ensuring learning and growth continue even in the midst of loss and uncertainty.
Every act of support carries dignity and hope into households facing unimaginable struggle. Your compassion is a lifeline, thank you for standing with them.
Young Hearts & Amitola Care Farm
Children and teenagers today face overwhelming challenges, trauma, abuse, depression, and self-doubt. At Amitola Care Farm, we create a sanctuary where young hearts reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with animals. Through Katie’s one-to-one sessions and the gentle presence of animals, healing begins and hope is reborn.
Amitola is also home to animals who have endured abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Here, they are safe, loved, and free, and in their healing, they help heal us. Compassion flows both ways, proving that love can restore what was once broken.
So far, together we have:
- Built a barn to shelter the animals and create safe gathering spaces.
- Offered art activities at the farm, giving children and teens a way to express themselves creatively.
- Provided circles of care where kids can laugh, play, and feel at home again.
- Continued to nurture both the animals and the young people who visit, so both may rise in harmony.
Amitola is not just a farm, it is a refuge, a classroom, a place of joy, and a living reminder that healing is possible for all.
Orphaned Children
Over the last 18 months, And Still I Rise Foundation has supported several orphanages in Uganda, Bangladesh and the USA. We are grateful to support the inspiring work of Mukassa and his team, Koli and the two orphanages she supports in Bangladesh and the projects ran at Middleway House in Indiana serving those unable to live in their homes due to abuse. With gratitude to our community we have helped cover rent, school fees, purchased a mobile phone, provided english classes, one to one coaching food, social media & medical support, clothing, stationary, toys.
Together, we’ve provided:
- 600 books, notebooks, pens, and paper
- 50 pairs of shoes
- Clothing and daily essentials for children
- Medical Support
Each gift is a thread in the fabric of dignity. These children deserve not only survival, but the joy of learning and growing with pride.
Meet Arizabeth
A Mother’s Love, A Warrior’s Heart
Arizabeth had always embraced the beauty of simplicity. With her husband Martin, she raised their two sons, Mateo and Enrique, both diagnosed with autism. Life demanded patience, structure, and endless heart, and Arizabeth carried it all with quiet strength.
But in December 2024, everything changed. A sudden staph infection led to sepsis. In hours, her life was on the edge. To save her, doctors amputated three of her limbs and began facial reconstruction.
Her world changed forever. And yet… she lives. She loves. She mothers. She rises.
Why we tell her story: At And Still I Rise Foundation, we believe this is not the end of her story but the beginning of ours together. Arizabeth gave everything for her children. Now we rise beside her.
Pathways of Healing: Scholarships & Community Access
Through our Scholarships and Community Access Program, survivors of trauma, abuse, depression, and addiction are given the chance to step into the Ascension Pathway Programs at no cost. Here, they discover purpose, restore hope, and reconnect with themselves in safe, loving spaces.
Many participants also receive one-to-one sessions with Katie, offering gentle guidance, compassion, and encouragement exactly when it’s needed most. Every scholarship is more than financial aid, it is an invitation to healing and a doorway to a new beginning.
